    Welcome!

    Hello!
I've just watched Outlaw Star and it became one of my favourite anime ever!
I was searching for more info/content about Outlaw Star universe and this is how I ended up here.
I spent some time already digging in this forum and I am impressed by amount of passion and work you've done here.
As I understand you are working on translating all manga volumes? Is that right?
I saw some mentions about patreon but couldn't find any links - how I can support you?
    Thanks!

Hello alek and welcome to Outlaw Star Nexus! I take it you didn't originally find the forum on Google. (Probably impossible, our rankings suck.)

The manga scanlation is still a thing but I'm not heading it anymore. My role from here on will just be finalising the translations and scanning new pages.

The person to talk to for updates on its progress is now Zemekis. He's trying to get the ball rolling with some new team members. Presently the majority of the manga has only been produced as drafts. As far as I know they're doing volume three now and after that they'll start working on and start releasing the public versions from the start of the manga. Maybe their plan has changed though, I'm not sure.

Regarding the Patreon, I appreciate the sentiment but it no longer exists. There isn't a way of accepting further donations, at least at the moment. Previously, one of the Patreon tiers gave patrons access to the private forum with all the draft versions. As the Patreon is gone so is that way into it, but if Zemekis is cool with it I'll give you the permission to view that. Keep in mind that the drafts are quite rough around the edges. Especially the earlier ones. They were my first foray into scanlating.

    Thanks for answer!
As for the access I don't need it now, I will just wait when it's finished.
I know it's laborious process and it's made completely by fans so it will take time but it's heartwarming that something is happening around Outlaw Star .
I dream that some day someone will make prequel/sequel to Outlaw Star - but I guess it's a dream of everyone in this forum .

Yep, pretty much all of us have dreamed of something like that. There already was a prequel, just not in an animated form:

Two plans for sequels have been uncovered. They're really interesting so it's a shame nothing aside from some information and concept art came to fruition.

Belated welcome! I always overlook this section because it is at the tippy top. I hope you enjoy it here!

Glad to see people still finding the series and becoming fans all these years later. It is still one of my favorite animes.
