    YouTuber Fans

You guys may have seen the news about that YouTuber couple that got their home broken into by an armed fan. I can't remember their names as I didn't watch them but apparently, this guy who broke in the home wanted to kill the YouTuber. He made threats about him in the past saying he needs to die childless and all this stuff.

It got me thinking... You know how some crazy fans of celebrities get? Have we reached that level with YouTubers - and if so, could being an online "celebrity" be a dangerous career choice for younger adults and teens?

I know there are some YouTubers that are 12 to 20 who have a lot of fans. They make good money too. With the way people freely give out information about themselves, this could be bad.

Do you think that YouTuber fans can become a big problem for people on YouTube or has it already become a problem?

This is an interesting phenomenon that I've seen. Social psychologists call it a parasocial relationship. You become so attached to a character that you start acting delusional and think you're in love with them or you're a part of their family. It's a fascinating topic given how it relates to fandom.
A boy has the right to dream. There are endless possibilities stretched out before him....

This has more or less has been around since the days of stage acting. If you're popular enough you'll have wacky and in some cases dangerous fans.
We are all insane, we just act normal for the sake of others.

Well, there's a lot of crazy people out there more so in social medias like youtube and Facebook. I think that's the usual problem of being a celebrity or being famous, this attracts both wanted and unwanted attention from all sorts of people.

So if you're famous it's better to be always cautious because there's a lot psychos around.

People nowadays are so violent. Some people would kill anybody for the sake of money. Either you are famous or nor, you have to be careful. Don't give your trust to somebody you just met.
